Hi! I’m Tanuja, the owner of The Spice Life and a proud “double agent” – a Project Manager by day and an entrepreneur by weekend. I’m a big-time foodie, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve had this itch to do something of my own in the world of flavors. For years, I’ve been eyeing my mom’s secret recipes and thinking, “One day, these need to hit prime time.”
That “one day” finally arrived when I was on maternity leave with my son. They say many women get a burst of creativity towards the end of their mat leave, and I guess I’m proof it’s real! Just as I was preparing to jump back into Zoom calls, I felt this undeniable urge to turn my kitchen into a mini spice factory. And voila! The Spice Life—affectionately known as “baby #2”—was born.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I still absolutely love my job and the incredible team I work with. In fact, I think my colleagues are almost as excited about my ideas as I am. But this side hustle? This is where I get to unleash a whole new kind of creativity, channeling my family’s recipes into jars of goodness.
